Hello Seattle drummers!
We've had a few pretty nice jams at Gasworks on Sundays. when weather has permitted. (Did somebody put a weather curse on Sundays this summer or what?!) This Sunday there will be a Peace Concert at Gasworks ( www.seapeace.org/ ), & the weather should be decent, so who's up for bringing our drums down to the park & adding to the mix? We'd want to play somewhere away from the main stage to get away from competing sound -- maybe down by the lake? Anyone game? I'm inviting some folks from the W. African drum & dance community, too. Let's do it up right & rock the park!
I suggest starting around 3pm. The concert will go until 6. People can go back & forth between concert & drum jam from 3-6, then after that, it's all drums! Who's in?

I have the fondest memories of drumming after Peace Concerts, I'll be there by 6, maybe sooner.
c'mon out, people!
